On May 28, 2019 a one (1) day Procurement Management workshop was held at the DPS Scholarships building located at the corners of Vlissengen Road and Durban Street.
This workshop represented a collaborative effort between the Department of Public Service (DPS) and the Public Procurement Commission (PPC). It was executed as part of a four (4) days certifiable training event, held under the theme Procurement and Stores Management.
The objective of the workshop was to ensure a clear understanding of the public procurement system in Guyana and the governing legislative framework.
The sessions were facilitated by the four (4) representatives of the Commission’s Secretariat, supported by the Chairperson of the Commission.
